When are we lonely?

Last night I was really happy for a moment,
I had a good eye in my studying progress for my exam,
and on last.fm I had stumbled onto tha “duyster”-tag
(“Duyster” used to be a late night radio-show on “Studio Brussel”,
featuring a bit weird and slow, but often quite soothing music).
So I was happy to hear that music once again.

I felt quite complete, but then I realised,
that having someone to hug at that moment,
would have been quite nice.

I’m quite a loner, and maybe even a bit asocial,
but it’s at those moments,
when you are happy and want to share that feeling,
That you realise that everybody needs somebody,
sometimes.

Backdraft

Pff, I was sooo happy when the extreme heat was over, and then it started to rain like hell, and out of no-where, I suddenly turn ill. My eyes feel like they’ve been exposed to a hot hairdryer for hours, and my throat feels like I’m constantly pouring pure alcohol over it. And then there’s this head-ache, bah …
So now I’m trying to keep myself warm, wrapping myself in thick fleeces and blankets, but it just doesn’t wear off.
Well, I’ll have to live with it for some time then.
And studying, … hmm, never goes as planned, it’s soo damn hard to concentrate when all these people I know are leaving to all these places, and are having parties to celebrate that. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone came up to me; “Hey, I’m leaving for the Andrmeda galaxy next week and I’m having a thai-themed party, don’t you wanna come? Just don’t forget to bring your jelly-antenna’s-headgear …”
Lucky someone recommended me “http://www.last.fm”, now I can totally compare my music-taste with people I don’t know !!!
Well, I don’t have to compare my music-taste with people I do know, it’s quite different, I know that … I just have to stretch out my hand to my cd-rack to have them screaming at me…
